Billikan's Island
Billikan's Island is the center of the South Isles, both geographically and politically. Named for a famous pirate captain, and leader, the island is a thriving community of about 15,000 permanent (non-sailors) residents.

Billikan has three large ports, Pirate's Door, Elliot's Cove, and North Cove. The larger – Elliot's and North Cove – are technically nuetral ports, and open to any one. Pirate's Door is the home to leader of the South Isles federation, Captain Zahkir. Elliot's Cove, while neutral, supports Zahkir, and is the permanent home to a small faction of free sails led by the enigmatic Captain Darius. Darius and his crews do not openly support Zahkir, but are not hostile to him either.

Bilkans has dry-docks in all three ports, and the two nuetral ports are medium sized towns with nearly anything available.
