Dragon Spines

The Dragon Spines is a chain of small, sparsely inhabited islands. Some are the homes to the groups of Magirie who refused to mingle with inlanders. Other islands in the chain were strongholds of former pirates, or are deserted. They are avoided by most of the South Island inhabitants because of the amount of dangerous coral and rock reefs that surround them, especially on the eastern approach.

One notable island, Ogre Isle, at the north end of the chain, was a former stronghold of Garius Legit, a famous explorer, pirate and mystic. Garius was said to be a collector of unique magic items, and esoteric items of religious significance.
